We joined a little over a year ago. In this short time frame I have watched my daughter branch out from a very shy little girl to socializing with other children. She has found so much joy in attending weekly playgroups. She looks forward to the various learning centers, sensory activities and interacting with others.
Ms. Alicia provides a fun filled class. Learning is incorporated into all aspects. Just last week, she taught the children another new song that involved math. My daughter then comes home and applies what she has learned into her own homeschooling lessons.
I love how every week Ms. Alicia has a new topic for the children to explore. From desert animals to weather. She provides STEM activities and so many hands on lessons for them to do at their own pace. Each activity is child led and they can bounce around from each station.
I am eagerly looking forward to enrolling my 9month old once he is able to join.

A year ago, it was becoming very apparent that our daughter was struggling with her speech. Though I felt that I could understand her, I was often being asked by others “what did she say?”. Thankfully though, we were connected with Alicia for Speech Therapy.
I remember initially feeling very concerned with the amount of sounds my daughter needed to work on and wondering if I had waited too long to find her the help she needed. But once we started meeting with Alicia for individual therapy and articulation groups it stopped being worrisome and started becoming doable. It was with Alicia’s support, guidance, knowledge and ability to teach both me and my daughter, that led to my daughter progressing so much quicker than I anticipated. The groups and individual therapy were done in a supportive, comfortable and fun environment. We looked forward to working with Ms. Alicia every week!
Now, as my daughter reaches 6 years old, she is speaking clearly and proudly! (Without ever being asked to repeat herself). I couldn’t be more grateful for the connection to Alicia and how much it has helped our daughter grow into the amazing storyteller she is. I highly recommend Alicia and the services she provides to our community!

We were searching for new ways for our 10-year-old to practice his social skills when we read about Jackie’s Peer Group. We wanted to find something that focused on the interaction between the kids and not combining it with learning a skill or playing a sport.
Jackie has done a great job of incorporating conversations about flexible thinking and hypothetical situations into a social setting with similar-aged peers. As a homeschooling family that is new to Connecticut, it has increased our son’s confidence to introduce himself to new people.

I recently had the pleasure of enrolling my children in playing with food sessions and preschool classes with Ms Alicia, who I cannot recommend highly enough. Not only is she an exceptional speech therapist, but she also has a natural talent for working with young children and creating a positive, nurturing environment.
Throughout our time with her, my child made incredible progress in their eating habits and it was thanks to her patience, expertise, and ability to connect with my child on their level. Her lessons were always engaging, interactive, and designed specifically for my child's needs, which led to a noticeable improvement in their diet and overall confidence.
As for her preschool classes, they were an absolute joy for my child. From the creative and educational activities to the warm and welcoming environment, every aspect of the class was carefully thought out and executed to perfection. My child loved going to class each day and always came home happy, bubbly, and full of new experiences and knowledge.
Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of Alicia. She truly has a gift for working with kids and helped my child develop essential skills and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
